 Enclousre question.....
i know this is kind of random and not so easy of a question but i was wondering if anyone has saw enclosures with sort of a pool lookin area in the tank....its sort of closed off and i wanted to know how do i go about doin that cuz i will like to have dat part of my enclosure so if anyone has info feel free to write back..thanks

In my experience any time I have offered either species of tegu I keep something large enough to soak in etc it is pretty much ignored. I have not once seen my tegus soak or show any interest in doing so. If you want to add something like that in your cage that’s cool and all, it can make the cage look nicer but it may not be used and could just be wasted space the tegu could use for burrowing,basking etc etc. so make sure it’s removable :)

all you need to do is get a small enough pond from lows or home depot and just kinda build the subtrait up to it. thats what i did.
