 New tegu enclosure/replacement enclosure/new pet choice

so... i wasnt sure where to post this, considering it’s kind of divided into several topics.

i got a baby tegu, who definetly isnt a baby anymore, and is close to outgrowing his 30 gal. tank. what kind of cage should i get him, where could i get it, and where should i keep it?.. (my tegu is also over a foot long, so far)

i also plan to reuse the 30 gal. tank as he moves out, and im wondering what kind of good starter lizard/snake i should put in there.
relatively cheap
easy to take care for

you can check craigslist. com for bigger sized tanks. make sure you are covering the middle 75% of the top of your mesh lid with tin foil or something to keep the humidity in. Beginner snakes and lizards is kind of a personal choice. I didn’t pick my first pet because it was cheap or easy to care for just do some research and see what you like and learn its requirements so you don’t get sick of it in a few months and want to get something new.
