 Varnyard?

Is this a pretty safe place to get a tegu? I have wanted an Argentine since i can remember but i still have yet to get one. I have a Albino Burmese and two beardies i am going to sell. The beardies werent mine to begin with i was just taking care of them because the store i worked at couldnt sell them because nipped toes and a stub for a leg. Since i have had them they have healed up nicely and are ready to go to a new home, so i will have plenty of room for a tegu. I will probably build an enclosure and put it on top of my savannahs. Im just wondering the best place to purchase one? i know Agama international and varnyard, are there any others? Im looking into getting an extreme giant, or just a standard black and white.

Also whata re the growth rates? Would it be faster or slower then my sav monitor? Im very excited in getting one of these, so any additional information would be greatly appreciated. I have done research but i think it would be better to actually interact with owners =]

VarnYard a good place to buy tegu’s??? I have nothing bad to say about Bobby, he is a very good guy and is very knowledgable. I wish I lived in the states so I could get a couple of his Chacoan giants.
If you tegu hibernates the winter away then growth will be slower but if it does like mine and stays fully active then you are looking at a fast growing animal that will need lots of social time to tame down and stay that.
Agama-- Bert passed away and I do not know if anybody has taken over the business as it was up for sale.

Bobby is one of the best guy’s you could buy a tegu from. All his babies are top of the line gu’s. I would reconmend him any day. Check out tegutalk.com . It’s his forum and theres lots of nice people there.
