Tegu troubles I am guessing that she is stressed to the max. You need to leave her be for a good eek and go from there. Even CB tegus need time to adjust, a WC more so! Only go in the enclosure to offer fresh water and to spot clean. Offer atleast 2 hides one on the hot, one on the cool. Ensure you are offering her a good size enclosure, the poor girl just came from basking in the florida sun with endless space to a tank so the least you can do is offer LOTS of room and hides to feel safe.
Good luck

Tegu troubles with my tegu I don’t initiate hibernation. I will slowly cut the daylight hours down, from 12-10, if he responds well to that then I reduce further. My tegu has yet to hibernate but I have heard people say they continue to reduce the basking time down by two hours every couple weeks, with the light/heat reduction, food is also limited. If you start to notice your tegu not coming out for more then an hour or so a day I would stop feeding all together and continue to reduce the lights by two hours. If she is going to hibernate then this is when she should disappear for winter. Monitor temps to make sure they don’t dip too low but as for basking lights they are no longer needed. I use a ceramic heat light in the winter months for added warmth. Continue to offer fresh water, atleast until you don’t see her come our for a good week or so. Now my experience with trying to encourage hibernation was a very grumpy, hungry tegu so if she is resistant then don’t push her. Also if you notice her come out mid way through the hibernating season you can turn her basking lights on for a bit but don’t feed her. If and when she starts coming our to bask on a daily basis then I would feed after the 3-4 day.
Hope that helps some
