#2255726 BrutusOwner View Profile	Tegu Got Out - Can he climb stairs? Yep, he got out of his cage and we can’t find him. He is kept on the 2nd floor and we have wooden stairs going up to the third floor and down to the first floor. Any chance he would climb the stairs? They are bare wood - no carpet. Any chance he would go down the stairs - also bare wood. If not, we will confine our search to the floor where he got out. thanks.

Even if he can’t climb he can fall. Just keep looking :-) My male snake just got out and i found him 2 weeks later. lol i know its a long time but just don’t worrie to much about it and keep looking.

He got down a full flight of wooden stairs. Doesn’t appear worse for wear, though I suppose he fell at least part of the way. Was in a 3" wide cabinet spacer between the stove and the wall. Dusty and hungry but in good shape. Had to pay $200 to fix the cracked gas pipe caused when I moved the stove. :( Glad to have him back.
