nah, no successful hatchings, i had 3 clutches 11 eggs total, but no success hatching, oh well, 5 more months till breeding season begins again, and by that time i shall have another pair.

I have a 3 foot long Argentinian B&W Tegu. I am making an enormus 20’0 x 5’0 Terrarium. After seeing yours I could not believe the beauty that it entails. If I may ...what are the materials and plant life you have used. Currently i’m using Aspen but I want something that will look more natural. I really loved your setup and would greatly appreciate any input you have. I promise to send pics once i’m done too~

i use a combo of eco earth,bark and a lil bit of potting soil for substrate the plants are rubber plant and potho and sometimes philodendrons the walls are masked with silk garlands w/plastic chaining suction cupped to the glass and various other silk plants are used, oh yea check it out [My Link

OMG...How big IS that friggin’ cage! LOL! Am I mistaken or does a full grown Tegu (1) need a whole ROOM to run around in...did I read somewhere that my one will need 8’ x 4’???? I have an 8’ x 10’ bedroom that I keep all my reptiles in...MAN IS IT HOT IN THERE with all the lights and undertank heaters! I usually strip down to just a bra and jeans when I hang out and watch movies...lol...let me know how long that habitat is gonna last 3 tegus! Oh by the way...I have a gold Tegu...must have a thing for gold/black...my 2 ball pythons are beautiful as well! Di

the cage is 4’ x 2’ x 2’ for the ameivas, if they were a n argentine tegu something like 8’ x 4’ would be good and for a blue 6’ x 3’, got any pix of the bra and jeans???? hahaha j/k
