 Are the pets from petco wild cought

I got a toad fro mpetco, I was wondering If they get their toads from breeders, or get them wild caught. I hope mine a captive bred.

If it’s a firebelly, it might be captive-bred. I’m not sure there; could go either way. If it’s any other toad, though, I guarantee it’s wild caught. You’re better off collecting your own then making them go through the collector, then the wholesaler, then the pet shop...

I’ve heard quite a few are captive raised, but not bred. However, the majority of Petco’s stock is wild caught when it comes to the reptiles.

whe nthings are wild coaght, do they jsut catch animals of any age or do they catch them when they are young, I want to know how old my toad i got is.

I only buy food from there....i caught them both outside of my house i don’t trust petco because the first bunny i got there was sick and died in 3 days
