New FBT’s Hello everyone, I recently purchased my new fire belly toads yesturday and there are so amazing to have! The best time to see them is when they eat. It is the coolest thing I have ever seen! Their fire belly is absolutley beautiful! I posted this just to introduce myself to the toad forum, because I am mainly in the boa and milksnake forums too :P

New FBT’s Cool! I just got some also. I have had them for like a week, and they are so amazing! I love them so much! And their tank is so easy to clean. It takes me like 5 min to clean their tank! I have large river stones on the bottom, and a big glad tupperware contaier with my eco-earth. So when i clean, I take alittle dit off th top and rinse the rocks. My tank looks really cool, and I love it. Also the toads have their own personalities! So cool!

New FBT’s Well unfortunatley today when I checked on my FBT’s there was one missing I had a cover over the tank but I guess it wasn’t able to find him. I feel sad because I dont think I’m going to find him. I’ll keep looking but I dont think I’m going to find him :(

New FBT’s I lost a toad once and I found it in some plant bases, what I do when my toads get away is put water dishes all over hte house, look in tight spaces, thats where they like ot hide, and htey hope around at night so maybe it will wake you up. these toads also burrow, he could have burrowed under a plant or under some moss.

New FBT’s I had one missing for 4 months. He found his way into the basement and appeared as I was putting clothes in the dryer. He was a bit thin but quickly plumped up. He had lots of insects and puddles to jump in during his "vacation" from the others.

New FBT’s I keep looking but I can’t find him anywhere. Do you guys think I should go back to the pet store to buy another one? Because I feel bad for the one who is in the tank because I know FBT’s are social.

New FBT’s Well here is the update, unfortunatley both my FBT’s escaped. I had a terrible cover on. The good news is I found one last night so hopefully the other one is around somewhere. I’m hoping I will find him soon!

New FBT’s Good luck! You should try to get a better lid or put some weight on it so they won’t escape again. Where did you find it?
