 Frozen Blood Worms - FBT’s

Does anyone feed their FBT’s frozen blood worms? And is it okay to give them to them once in awhile? I was just wondering, I have them for my newt, and was wondering if they can go to the toads also? Just wondering, anybody know?

No harm in trying. Mine won’t touch anything that doesn’t move. If you can get them to take it then good for you!

I never tried that, as they say "a person who tries and fails is better than a person who does nothing,"

I was wondering the same thing as I am considering getting FBTs. Frozen bloodworms are really cheap so I is definitely worth a try! I wish I had an answer for you though, sorry.

I have a FBT tank with 3 little tetras and a red clawed crab.I feed the fish and the crab the frozen blood worms and the FBT’s won’t touch it. Food has to be alive and moving.

The crab doesn’t go after the FBT? Be careful with that group! We had a person on with almost the same thing and he thought it was fine until he came home to a tragedy.

I honestly have never tried feeding mine anything not alive. However, I have recently tried redworms and they seem to love those wiggly worms!
