 WHY IS IT SO HARD TO FIND TOADS

ok, so I live in vancouver, Canada area, and all i see are fire bellied toads, i want American toads, and why aren’t there any of those here in Canada?! i hardly see any in Pet Stores, but they have everything else, burmese pythons, ball pythons, reticulated pythons, all kinds of snakes, all kinds of lizards, every other kinds of amphibians, but no American Toads, i had no idea how hard it was to look for a American toad or two in Vanouver canada
can anybody in my area tell me where i can buy american toads? i don’t want anything shipped, since they are so cheap everywhere

Usually, pet stores don’t sell what can be commonly found in your area, which might be the reason you can’t find them for sale.
