Fire belly Toad confusion 
I just went and bought a second fire belly toad and got him home and noticed that the one I already have is brown (with red on the bottom) and this one is green... can anyone explain why?

They come from different parts of the world. Most likely the green one is from the orient while the brown is a Russian. No big deal. My tank is full of the two different types and they treat each other equally. The bully of my tank beats up the brown and the green. He’s an equal opportunity kind of guy.

Fire belly toads often change color as I’ve heard and read and relatively soon will see. I’ve seen tanks labled Korean or Oriental fire-belly toads with plenty of brown and green ones. Since both types require identical needs, they are fine to be mixed. Good luck!
