 Please Read
O.k. so I posted the thing about Names. And now i cant decide what kind of toad I should get Its between an American toad and an Fire bellied toad, and should I get a boy or a girl. Plus I want one that can be handled so please help.

You can get a captive-bred firebelly. You can not get a captive-bred American. Which would you rather keep in a tank, a toad that was born in one or a toad that’s used to being able to hop around as much as it wants?
For something that looks like a toad but isn’t, and is captive-bred you might also consider a horned, aka, "Pac-Man" frog.
Really, no amphibian does well with a lot amount of handling, though. It’s bad for their skin.

No toads would like to be handled, they can absorbed the bacteria in your skin. Personally, I like American Toads better, they are much easier to care for. Getting a girl or a boy is to your preference, it really doesn’t matter unless you get more than one. But if you want your toad to croak, you should get a male.
