FBT’s and red-eared slider Before you make a decision read up on all the research you can on the slider. It may not only be the FBTs effecting the slider that you have to worry about. Does the FBT tank have a good filter? I read that turtles foul their water fairly regularly and so do FBTs. You’d have to do frequent water changes and watch for the toxicity level. Oh, yeah, how big is the FBT tank, and how big is the slider. Both species do not live in proximity to one another in the wild so even for a little while it might be dangerous. Don’t take my word, though. Get as much research as you can. LOL!reako45

FBT’s and red-eared slider i have owned re-ear sliders for many years they won’t hurt the toads, but if you know that the toads have toxins it’s best not to do it because turtles catch disease and illness fast. i also use to own FBTs and i found them harmless. i still wouldn’t try it if i was you it could hurt the turtle.
