 Back from the brink, but not 100%

I have 2 small American toads, we have had them over a year. My kids forgot to give them water and I found them very dehydrated. I thought the smaller one was dead he was so dried out.
After a night long water batch they both looked normal. The female is eating now and looks great but the male isnt eating and is really shrinking. He also walks by lifting himself up more than he used to hop.
Any ideas?? Thanks

huh,thats rough thats why i think that toads arent great pets for small kids,not only neglect but they get stressed easy an so many other issues,good luck.

feed the male really healthy food, soft, and easy to swallow with lots of vitamins. Also, keep the cage wet.
