 How Old?

How old do firebellies tipcley get? I have heard of 14+ years but i wasnt sure. I have had mine for 8 years and hes going strong.

They seem to be a surprisingly long-lived species for a small frog -- I have a pair of them that have been with me for over 5 years... I have read that with good care, they can typically live up to about 15 years and apparently there have been some cases of them surviving up to 30 years, believe it or not.

I too have heard of them living 20+ years. We’ve had 1 of ours now for 5 years. The other 3 for less than 3 years.
