What’s Up with my FBT

My toad Herman Keeps flexing out and showing is purple mounth. Yes your toad’s mouth is purple. Is he shedding? HE looks like he is throwing up. He also closes his eyes while doing it he only once in a while. I have no gravel in my cage. I’m freaken out.

Hi, Yes sounds like he is shedding, if you look at the corners of his mouth you will probably see the skin

toadily...when mine did this for the first time I thought he was dying. I rushed my hubby up the stairs to show him!!! My toad shut his eyes and used his forearms and "brushed" it across his face. After that, I realized that he was shedding and was just eating it. Kinda gross but true!!! :)

Yeah lol i had both my parents upstairs when mine was shedding i couldnt see my other toad either and i thought he had eaten the other lol!! and was dieing becuase was too biga meal lol. but its all ok, and the skin is good for them!
