 Firebelly Toads AKA Horny Toads

Ive been reading and it seems that FireBelly Toads are HORNY toads. They love to mate with eachother altho they very rarely breed. This morning I found out that I have one male and one female because they were mating in the water. If you dont know how to tell from what I have read the males are larger, alil darker in color and their hands/feet are all black unlike the female they have some green in them. So we’ll see if i get lucky and see if they were breeding or just having a round of fun :D

Hi I know what you mean my toads are sooo horny(that sounds weird i know) mine seem to have a little scrap then their mating they are male and female though. The male is quite alot bigger than the female but the female is always taking the make out! Do you know anything on the humidity in their tank? :) SCott14,

yah from what ive read norm is between 70 and 80 and for breeding its like 85 to 90 from what ive read any way....if you check ur other post i replied there too

just because they are in the mating posture dosnt mean its a guy and a girl if you hear the one on the bottom making a wooping sound it means that its guy on guy action and he is telling the other one to get off! lol
