Picky russain tortoise wont eat 
looking for feeding suggestions...my russian will only eat romaine lettuce! during the summer when he’s outside he’s fine, but when he’s in for the winter he is very hard to feed. he will on occasion eat cactus, but really he turns his nose up at most every green except lettuce, I have some tortoise grass seed mix that im growing, but he wont eat that either. does anyone have any suggestions? ive tried pretty much every thing on his diet list

Tough love. Cut out the lettuce and give him a variety of other healthy choices each day until he starts eating it. He’s not going to starve himself - only holding out so you feel guilty and give him the romaine. Also, perhaps you could bring in some of the dandilions etc from the yard and grow them indoors in the winter? And then mix the store veggies with them.

if youd like to know other things they can eat www.russiantortoise.org has edible landscapes...so that could help i think by trying lots of other plants/flowers/veggie
