Glass tanks are bad for tortoises! Your tortoise will get stressed as can see out of glass. They offer very poor ventilation, stagnate air, damp condistions and poor heat gradient. Please seek advice form the tortoise trust. Tortoise tables are better. Cosy Tortoises make tortoise tables. |

A better substrate would be sand/dirt or even better hay or grass. Sulcata tend to munch everything they can find. Found the hard way with mine when he was that little. Enjoy it while it is little because my 3 year old is now about 10 inches long and almost 10 pounds. |
