my son found this little guy/girl outside i was wondering what type of turtle he/she is.. he found it next to a little stream buy our house.. im going to let him take a few pictures with him and let the turtle right back where he found it.. but still interested in knowing what type of turtle he is .. since there are so many diffrent kinds..and i can pretty much tell its a baby or very young

I don’t know much about turtles. But I think it’s some kind of box turtle.

Hi there xtremsapril, that there is a baby box turtle, im unsure on the type of box turtle it is but it is a boxie of some sort.

Very cute.

If it is wild, please let it free again into the wild, it is not nice to take from the wild.

Man the population rate of them drops EVERY year....... Man I wished more people would respect those poor guys.


our friends (we live in south texas) have a ranch and they go out and runover boxies and texas tortoises for ’fun’


I wish someone would come out and runover THEM for ’fun’
