well i want to know how i am suppose to hang a long uvb light from the side of my tank that i made

well you just put the fitment and mains behind the enclosure and hang the light wires over the side =]

or build a long stick that comes out like

that above, like a hangman type thing. then you fix a hook or something to the end and hang it that way.
