 Leopard care

Hey, baby leopards are like any other tortoise they dont need alot of space so a minimum of 3 foot long and 2 foot wide (indoor rabbit cage) is fine until theyre alrger.
take note they get very large and sometimes need an amazingly LARGE accomodation!

you should do some research on them.

Hi,
Tay has given you good advice regarding cage size.

Quote:

what they eat

Leopard tortoises need a high fibre diet of 70% grasses and hay and 30% greens/

Quote:

what they need in their cage

They need a shallow dish of water, a piece of slate to keep food of the substreate a substrate (the 70% soil and 30% playsand works best for leo’s), a hide, basking light, uvb bulb and pebbles and decorations to break the enclosure up.

I would agree with Tay and say 3 foot long and 2 foot wide min.

Leopards can get up to 2 feet long and weigh a hundread pounds. However most are around15-18" and 30-50 pounds.Males are usually larger than females.
Leopards are great torts they can be a bit shy but their patterns and colours on their shell are lovely.
Anyway good luck if you decide to go for a leo.
Hope this helps
