Question (HELP) I was wondering, when and if i ever did move to the USA, Connecticut.
Would it be ok if i took my tortoises?
Naturally id do it all correct, like i would get them vaccinated and stuff like that.
Is it illegal to fly over with animals?
I know you can move and get your animals there too, but i was wondering about my hermanns tortoises.

Question (HELP) where do you live and it would probably be ok since thier international pets just put them in a small pet carrier with blankets and some food and put a fragile sticker on it or after you arive you could have a friend ship them

Question (HELP) You would have to check with the U.S. customs department, there are regulations and quite often there are quarantine periods of time that can be months long where you are paying them to board your animal while you wail, it can be 6 months or even more and is expensive. When I moved back to the U,S, from Germany I gave away my parrot because he would have been quarantined for 6 long months, and you don’t know where they are or if they are being taken propper care of. When my friend moved to and from Korea their cat was quarantined like 3 months each time. The restrictions are different for different types of animals, they always have to have a vet check proving that they are healthy and vaccinated (sorry there is no vaccine to give an animal so that people wont be allergic to it, its the dander in a cat or dogs fur that bothers people with allergies) Good question though, and something you would need to know well ahead of time. It is much stricter to fly in or out of different country’s than it is to fly from state to state.
