 Greek vs. Russian

Hi everyone! I’m one of those lurkers, just reading everything and not posting. :D I’m researching getting a tortoise, and I’ve found a couple breeders, because of all the things everyone had to say about Pet smart, etc. I was hoping to get a Russian tortoise, because I’ve read they’re good for beginners, but I’ve found a couple Greeks. Are they similar? I have a good amount of space, so that’s not the issue, although I would like to stay with the smaller species. Is the care similar? Heat, dry vs. humid? Any help would be great!!! Thanks!
