 Advice for two new sulcatas?

Guy dumpe these two beautiful reptiles on me, and I don’t know much, but I’ve read 4 books in 2 days, So I’m learning.

One is an 8 year old and I plan on letting him roam the back yard, I have checked to make sure the fence is secure and that all plants there are safe. I also bought him a very shallow kiddie pool to wade or drink from.
For winter, I just gave them my tool shed, lined the walls with insulation, and placed heating and UVB lamps in.

The one I’m worried about, is the one that is small enought to hold in my hand...
I am building him an outside cage that is 3 ft wide and 5 ft long...
I will place wiring on the top to prvent any predators from messing with while he is outside.
he also has a 59 gallon tank for nights.

My back yard is about 1000 sq ft.

Does this all sound alright?

Another question is where do I buy the hay to feed them? I found a website that sells 1 pound bags of it, but I was hoping to find something better.

You have supplied your sulcatas with a great home and it seems like they will have great care. as for the hay I don’t know. we got ours from our friends that have horses.....maybe you could try a close Tractor Supply Company or farming store.

Like RMac said, thats great!

also, farms, farm supplies and similar place sale hay real cheap usually.

also, aslong as the tank is only for night use thats fine.
