 Getting another tortoise

Hello, I hope you can help me out there in internet land.
My girlfriend bought a horsefield tortoise last year. he has a huge tank with rocks and a bath aand bed.

However she is considering getting him some company and we have seen a little baby totroise by itself.
but we dont know if we should or even can introduce a new tortoise to the tank seeing as he’s been in there for a year.

Hes about 2 so he’s still young,

Any ideas at all if we can or not. all help will be appreciated by me my gf and nero

Both should have a stool sample checked by a vet to make sure they are free of parasites, and both must be the same species.

Good luck! Photos would be helpful : )

Hi, quarentine your newer tortoise for a period of 90 days (3months) or longer.
Also do the stool samples.

And it has to be another horsefield to go with the current tortoise. different species should not live together.

Also, got any photos?
