 Is My sulcata ok???

My Sulcata is about two inches by two inches. I have had him about two years now. Is this normal?? I have seen them much larger online at this age.

I have recently changed his feeding habits as I have become more educated about him. I have been feeding him veggies and lettuce with a vitamin for tortoises on it. I recently built an outdoor enclosure that includes clover, grasses and other plants off the edible plants list. He seems to be more active since I put him out there. It also includes a small pond so he has water.

 Is My sulcata ok???

I took my little guy to a vet yesterday after my posts and they said he ate rocks. They were too large for him to pass so we had to put him down. I am so sad. Thanks for your replies though. I am going to give it some time to let my outdoor habitat get growing with the proper grasses I have planted. Then I would like to buy a pair if anyone knows a good breeder in Arizona. My Vet said he had some genetic problems, probably from poor breeding.

im so sry... I just had a Baby leopard tortoise die, his UVB fell on him and cracked half his shell off. We took him to the vet and they fixed him... but he died of shock about 60 seconds after the opperation.
I am so sry I know what it feels like to loose pets, I too had a poorly bred tortoise he was a redfoot tortoise.
he was a runt which I managed to keep alive for a couple years.
Do you know the rainbow bridge poem? its a great poem for those who have lost their pets.
Good Luck, I wish you a speedy ammotional recovery God bless
