My three toed box turtle (subspecies ?) Well i have to say thanks to every one for all the help... i believe i have solved a few minor issues as well as a few major ones. For instance i now know i have a three toed box turtle of which i can begin to investigate exactly which kind. also the exact importance of uvb light, i ordered a reptiglo 18 in. 15w 10% uvb ray flourescent specifically designated for turtles. and as of tonight she now has foraging space to dig and remain moist for extended periods of time. sorry im going to take up so much room but here it goes.
the blue tub is now for her to forage in. first i lined the bottom with dead bark from an old growth spruce. then we filled the tub with moss from our local woods
tub goes inset (floor level), basking level and den ramp
edge of pond and den area soaking area
i loved this when it was done her draw bridge
 the top of the ramp

Kayla too (KAT) and if you look close you can see some of a fancy gold fish a box turtle swimming a full shot towards the left KAT atop her baskin area(soon to be home of 10% reptiglo flourescent) another full shot from across the room KAT watching her two pet goldfish and this is my personal favorite... well i hope all you enjoyed and approve of the on goins... thanks for the help
