 Edible Flowers?

I started doing some research to find out what kinds of plants I could plant in my red-foot’s cage but of course every site is different. So I am wondering if anyone has any ideas as to what plants are safe for tortoises and what they seem to like =)

You can plant most edible flowers, it’s just that some are high in certain acids and what not that cuase health issues if fed to much of. Hibiscus, Pansy, Rose of Sharon, dandilion, Marigolds, Squash blossoms are edible but I don’t think you’d want to plant that in there lol. They have smooth prickly pears and other succulents like hen and chicks and lots of other non flowering plants, check out the african tortoise website as it has a ton of edible plants :) and you can get some seeds at carolina petsupply .com
Just be careful if you buy plants from a store as they have ferterlizer in them and need to be repotted and sit for 6 months or so before feeding.
