 My new Leo

I am just so excited about my new Leopard tort. I got her back after five years while a family friend had her. I never thought I would see this girl again but here she is. Alot aof people saw she looks in bad shape. I will clean her up and help her out and she will live long and happy. Here’s a pic, she’s about 10 - 15 years old and weighs about 11 pounds.

I’m sure she’ll be much happier now. She’s pretty even with the pyramiding! Glad you got her back :)

Leopard torts are very hard to keep and not pyrimaid... I have seen very few (that were kept as pets) and are smooth...
I have a approx 10 year old male that I got from a guy in NC who also had a perfect shelled scully.. he raised them the same and the leopard has pyrmiading
Your girl looks good!!!
but shiney, your not putting anything on the shell are you?
I have another juvenile who’s owner felt the need to rub some kind of oil into his shell.. I have had him/her for at least 6 months and it still looks shiney.. looks good but not good for them
Congrats on getting her back... she is a beut!!!
Jackie:)
