 For i a while i thought this forum was dead so her are some ??

going to get my first tort, a russian this november. and what to know if i had everthing..
have an 75 galllon storage container, pastic
put sand-dirt substrate, water bowl, so he can climb and soak in.
all vegtable die, have foot sheets
so just wondering then-- if aMVB can be used for them and i read on russiantortoise.org, that the rubbermaid containers, keep a good 60% humidity. last ? is, I’ve seen alot of prices in the UP and DOWN range, whats a good price im looking for, or atleast not to get, jipped, going to a show, on the 11-7 and was wondering

Your container sounds fine and yes you can use a MVB light. did you use more dirt then sand? like about 70/30 %? Too much sand will cause eye problems and such, how deep is it? 6- inches or maore is great for them to dig in.
What do you mean "vegtable die"? Check out the food list on the africantortoise website too, it has a great plant list for torts - whats safe or not in your yard and such. Great ideas for a variety of foods.
Do you have a hide? Not really sure what your last ? is... you didn’t really say a price. Most can be found between $50-$100, is that what you mean? check out prices on kingsnake, craigslist and such before the show to give yourself an idea. Pet stores are usually the higher priced ones.
