Identification
I live in Los Angeles, California, and assume that it was someone’s pet or is a hatchling from someone’s pet. Can anyone identify what type of tortoise or turtle this is? Photos |

Desert tortoises get BIG and they are not easy to care for. Lots of money involved and they need lots of space. They also live a VERY long time, so it’s a long commitment if you were to keep it. You’d probably have to put it in your will before you die. If you really want a tortoise do some research first and see if you have the means do dedicate to an animal like that before you get one. -tpau15 |
