#2233645 T-mon View Profile	Russian Tortoise Cloacal Spur Hello, I’ve been on this forums in my younger years of herp keeping, and this time its about my Russian Tortoise I’ve had for years. I grabbed him to take him outside and noticed his cloacal spur (the scale at the end of his tail) was hanging by a small thread and was very loose, like a loose tooth. Is this a problem and should vet be consulted? Or is this natural and he will regenerate another scale? It doesn’t seem to affect him in any way at all. Just my concern. Thanks for any help!
