Big but easy to care for.

Define big. A sulcatta gets 30 inches and are evry easy to care for. A leopard gets around 24 and are not as easy but not difficult.

Big that can stay in your house? There not a dog there a reptile, they will need uvb and heat bulbs, also they need a lot of room, a sulcata gets big but they need a big yard to live in and they can walk through your wall if they want, a reed foot gets to 14 inchs but require humidity and trust me you arnt going to keep humidity up in a house, a leopard tortoise gets to about 25 but again need room to roam, aldabras get to about 40 inches but they need room and they cost over 3000 $$ and galaps get huge like 45-50 inchs but you will need way more room then you most likly have, dont get a tortoise if you are just going to keep them in your house get something else, if you can keep one outside(when big) and provide the hundreds of $$ to keep one then go head get one, i say your best choices are sulcata, leopard tortoise, but again you will need to keep them outside when older.
