Sudstrate,loam soil?

hi, im changing the substrate in phoebes enclosure to loam soil and play sand mixed soil.
i went to the garden centre yesterday - i found play sand but couldnt find loam soil
Q. what is loam soil?
Q.is potting soil suitable?
i need to know quickly, thanks !!!!!!!!

I searched on internet and really the only thing I found out about it is thats it’s some kind of organic top soil and it’s expensive

50/50 topsoil / playsand works just fine; so does the playsand and bedabeast. Just make sure there is no chemicals/pestasides etc. added to the soil.

topsoil from the garden????? what about grubs and worms and stuff.
is potting compost dangerous- like in those bags from garden centres.
