That’s sad. I’d want to let you know that when it comes to urgent situation, you can consider euthanasia by using Orajel (pain killer for human tooth pain, 20% benzocoine) to kill the frog painlessly. Personally, I think if a frog has to suffer for more than 10 days, and no hope for recovery (Getting worse), it may be better to euthanize it for respectable death. If the frog can’t eat for a few weeks, it may die anyhow, but it’s suffering... The euthanasia process takes about 15 minutes, use a few tubes of the Orajel, it looks like q-tips, and drop it to the frog and let it absorb. Orajel is available at drugstores such as Walgreens. Sorry to hear, and let us know how it goes...My frog when suffering w/ redleg couldn’t eat and got skinnier also. Did you seperate the frog fom others? Redleg is contagious. You may condier soaking other frogs in weak coppersafe solution for 5 days (2 drops to 20ml ratio) to prevent spreading of redleg.
