American Green Tree Frog Help With Gender?

I heard that the color of the stripe and skin matters, so here:

And I’ve heard that males have a darker throat then females, so here:

The camera felt that my finger needed to be detailed instead of the frog. xDD Sorry. I’ll take another if you like

How long have you had her? If she/he’s old enough you could try playing Green Frog calls and see if she/he responds.

I haven’t had her for long, but she’s about 1.5 inches, so she must be young.

I’ve never heard her croak, so that’s why I thought she was female

You should never house 2 differnt species together! They will stess eachother out. You might not even be able to tell at first. Plus they have different bacteria and parisites that could make the other sick!

well that is definatly a female because the eardrum(the circle behind its eye) is the same size as its eye cause with frogs the on way you can tell is because the females eardrum is the same size as the eye and the males is bigger:)
