What tree frogs make good room mates?

Yes I currently have a green tree frog and a grey tree frog in the same tank(both of which are around 3 inches). Right now they seem to like each other and have become good room mates together, however I would like to add on, so here is my question. Are there other tree frogs that would go great with my green and gray tree frogs. I would like to have a total of four in the same tank but they need to be no bigger or smaller then 3 inches. If you have any suggestions, please let me know as soon as possible. Also I have ended services for today but will be back tomorrow starting at around 8:00am. If you leave a message, I won’t be able to respond to you tonight, but I will defenately respond to it tomorow. Thanks everyone and I will see you tomorrow. Enjoy your evening, Good-Night you all and take care.

Sincerely, Chad

Those two should not be in together, period.

How big is the tank to begin with? Are you sure you can even safely keep more in it?

Only add more of the same species (after a month quarantine of course).

I know that they are a small species, but there was no tank size stated, so for all we know it could be a 5 gal tank, that is why I asked.

Why shouldn’t they be together? I think those two are fine together but I don’t know of any others that can be combined.

check the mixing species post.............. Just because their basic care may be similar does not mean they make compatible room mates. They live in the same "area".
With your theory of basic care being the only concern and then that is a good example!!!
One tree alone or one pond can hold several different ecosystems with huge numbers of differnt species living within small proximity in our judgement but they never crossing paths. Animals are not social beyond their species. Why becasue simply others are a threat!!
Those two animals live every day in fear. ONe will either sucumb to the fear or be eaten by the other but if they are really lucky just live a really miserable life............

I’ve already read the mixing species post, and as I added I agree with it for the most part but there are exceptions. And in this case.... how do you KNOW they would be miserable? Thats your opinion. Sorry I’m not trying to be rude or anything. I just disagree.

I think I am speaking to the same person here...............
They will be miserable becasue they are forced into a small confined habitat with another species that they instinctively try and keep away from!!!! But in a small tank don’t have that option.

Ok..Think of it this way...

If your parents put you in a room to share with your little brother who also has head lice...

Though you would do it as you have no choice but if you had a choice would you choose it? Or would you rather have a room of your own?

Do you think you wouldn’t get the lice (without treatment)... Would they go away? No. The whole family would get infected in time and the whole house. The only way to rid this parasite is the whole family be treated..

Now think of that situation with a deadly outcome like the typhoid fever or plague or other disease.. this is the situation your putting the frogs in.....

How long do you think you would live?
