That type of set up isn’t really ideal for a Whites... Thats more for say a toad or more acquatic frog.

Do you know what your humdity is? Whites humdity levels are not high say around the 50%...
With temps around the 85f day and 75f nights..

Whites are more land and walk along the ground and climb branches and walls. They aren’t good swimmers and will drown in water that is deeper than what they can sit in...Never more than 4 inches and need easy access in and out. Two inch is what I would suggest..

Mold and mildew is another issue with that type of set up which can be toxic to your Whites... Filtering would be a must in that type of setup...

Whites tanks water area should be no more than a 1/3 of the tank...

You shouldn’t add any fish as it will pollute the water and also fish are full of parasites. Whites will go after anything that moves to eat so increases drowning possibilities never mind the parasite issues....

I really think you should consider re-doing your tank for the species your keeping.. I love the island idea though not floating but its just not right for this type of frog....

Imagine yourself put on an air bed in the ocean and you can’t swim.... Well this is really what your doing to your frog right now...

Sorry if this upsets you but it must be said so you know. Please keep in mind I’m trying to help you help your frog...

I agree, sounds better for a mossy frog.

Whites need land, and a shallow water area.

No other frogs, fish are actually dirty. They crap up the water and they do also have parasites and since your frog soaks in the water it’s not ideal.

Thats ok then.....

We just want you to be aware of their needs....We see many wrong set ups and very sick frogs if done incorrectly...

Would love to see pics...
