 Does your frog?....

does your frog ever come out? I have only had mine two days but i haven’t seen him move. I mean are they like snakes where they lay low for a few days or what. just wondering. it would just be sad to have bought such a pretty animal and it never comes out

What type of frog?

Most take a good month to settle into a new home so give it time...

Some species never come out till all is dead quiet and dark... Even then some are never seen... Others will come out and croak and climb...

All though need time to trust you... Right now you are a predator to them...

thanks! its a red eye tree frog. i know that they come out at night..but still

Red eyes are very shy.... Many members complain they never see them. These are for people that enjoy the beauty of the frog and can take months for them to show themselves...

Be patient as it will take time... Try not go into the tank too often as these are really a delicate species.
Insure your set up is what this frog requires as they stress easily....
Check temps, humdity, lots of leafy covering....
