Help me please

OK IM NEW AT THIS FROG STUFF
SO I NEED TO KNOW IF FOR A DUMPY TREE FROG DO YOU HAVE TO KEEP THE TEMP. LIKE 86 IN THE DAY AND THEN DROP IT DOWN TO LIKE 69 AT NIGHT?
OR DOES IT MATTER AS LONG AS ITS AT ROOM TEMP??
AND THEN I ALSO DONT GET THE HUMIDITY THING IS HUMIDITY GOOD OR BAD OR WHAT??

For a dumpy (Whites) its 85f daytime temps....then nights 75f....

Humidity is 50%-60%

Temps should drop for nights somewhat... Its more important to insure day time is correct first then get your night temps. What most do is use two bulbs...One day more warmth and then a moonbulb or low watt colored glass bulb for nights...

Lots of ways to do it... just try for the day first and then members can help you with getting the lamps right for night etc....

For humidity just mist a couple times a day..not soaking just light mist..

also 1 whites tree frog requires a 20 gallon tank that is taller than wide and everytime u add another whites it increases 10 gallongs so
20gal= 1
30gal= 2
40gal= 3
50gal= 4

i have 2 whites i got last friday :D

WHEN I FIRST GOT HER I HAD A LIGHT THAT THE PET SHOP GAVE US TO USE AND IT WAS LIKE WAY TO HOT ON HER SHE WAS LIKE PANTING LIKE A DOG OR SOMETHING AND WAS REALLY DRYED OUT FROM IT
SO WE TOOK IT OFF AND GOT THIS OTHER LITTLE LIGHT BUT IT DONT PUT OUT ANY HEAT OR ANY THING AT ALL
AND THE INSIDE OF THE TANK FEELS WORM AND HUMID TO ME BUT I DONT KNOW HOW IT FEELS TO HER OR HOW TO CHEAK IT ...

First, turn off your caps please.

You probably don’t know how it feels to the frog because you don’t have gauges. You must have gauges inside the tank otherwise you don’t know what the temps and humidity are. Not having them correct can stress the frog and they could die, or they could just die from being too hot or cold. You can get a cheap one in the garden section of most stores, otherwise order one online or check the pet stores. Digital are usually better than dial.

You can also just use a dome clamp light fixture ($5 at Walmart) and use a regular 25-60W house bulb (the wattage is determined by the readings on your gauges.)

Make sure that your water is treated with Aquatize or similar to remove chlorine and other metals.

Post a pic of your tank, it’s easier to identify issues that way.

AND UMM I HAVE A 40W HEAT LAMP ON IT IS THAT GOOD ENUF UNTILL I CAN GET SOMETHING ELS?
AND I HAVE MOSS IN THE BOTTON AND THEN SOME BRANCHES AND PLANTS AND STUFF BUT I DONT LIKE THE MOSS SO WHAT ELS COULD I USE?
I HAVE GAUGES BUT I DONT THINK IT WORKS BECAUSE IT NEVER CHANGES

Your frog could accidently swallow the moss when it leaps for food. Trust me I had a close call with it but he spit it out. Which I did know they could do. The best bedding for tree frogs is Coconut Husk like Bed-A-Beast. It helps maintain humidity and you can grow plants in it.

i use eco earth as the substrate for the bottom of my tank u can get it at petsmart or petco for like 5$ its kinda expensive at stores but online u can get it alot cheaper. also u can get other stuff their to like tanks lamps bulbs driftwood silk plants u know the stuff that should be in a whites tank :D

thats the site i got most of my stuff for my Whites tree frogs sept for my exo terra 18x18x24 tank eco earth and 1 log from outside. if you use a log outside wash it off with realy hot water first so all the dirt is off then let air dry for another day or so then bake it in the oven for 20min on 350 degrees.

well its actualy compressd cocunut fiber that u have to put in water for it to expand. u can proly find it a t petco or something its called eco earth its safe for them to eat so they cant get impacted (something blocking digestion) its very easy to use ill take a pic for ya of the cocunut fiber just to show you what it looks like. and u know what to get.

This is Zoo Med eco earth this is the same stuff i use in my tank also make sure u get some gravel or something then some window screen i believe? (idk some1 correct me on that) alright so first of all u put ur gravel down then put ur sreening down that u cut down to the dimension of the tank then put ur eco earth on top of the screening gravel has to be an inch of height or a lil more for drainage hope it helps :D
