Not really in treefrogs that I can think of..

However many species will adapt to their new home envioronments by showing themselves during the day...

Whites treefrogs, Fbt’s, big eyed, toads, American greens..to name a few...

If your interested in a particular species maybe ask on that type..

Most darts are. I just saw a 40 gal tank, with hills into the background and lots of live mosses and broms. It had a fogger running on the low areas, looked awesome, it has a bunch of turqoise and bronze aurautus in it, they were hopping and climbing about. Really cool. (daytime)

Most will take fruit flies and basically you learn to culture them yourself. You would do that prior to getting any so you know you can maintain the supply. You can also get emergency ones at Petco or online.

The more I’ve learned about them, the easier I think they are compared to some of our tree frogs. You would start with a good beginner one. Leucs, tincs or auratus would be good.

They don’t have to be that expensive, if you get them through a local breeder I know I can get them for $25 each. The tanks you can do are awesome and they don’t need as high of heat and humidity either.

Aren’t Firebelly toads diurnal also? They are very active during the day.
