well White’s are a good beginner frog, and you can get by with 1 in a 20 gallon tank.
if that’s too big, a green tree frog is also another good beginner which can get by in a 10 to 15 gallon tank as minimal.

I would encourage you to research the frogs first though.
here is a good site I know off off hand with reliable care sheets:
www.amphibiancare.com

white’s are typically $20 to $30 from a pet store, i would estimate an american green tree frog to be $10 to $15 give or take maybe a bit more or less, there is also the option of buying from a breeder for cheaper, but buying from a breeder may take away the option of you picking out the frog in person to check it’s health first.

Look at that site I gave you it will answer all your basic questions about picking frogs what to look for when checking health etc, He also has links of frogs he’s selling and I think he has a list of other breeders selling as well, check for people in your location.

use a screen top get the kind that just fits on top if you’re going to sit the tank on it’s end, you might want to get locks to hold the screen on so it’s secure.

Cuban tree frogs can pretty much survive in anything, but the bigger the froh the bigger the tank needs to be to take the best care of it. They are also veryyyyy messy!

You can actually buy 10 gal screen tops that are split in the middle with a hinge, then you can just silicone in a piece of plexi to hold your substrate to plant your plants in. You put about an inch or so of gravel in the bottom, then about 3" of Eco Earth and put your plant right in. Your plants need to be removed from their pots, throw out the dirt and wash the whole plant.

Good ones to use, Pothos (devils ivy), snake plant are good ones. You can tape up paper bags to the outside sides and back for a background, it makes them feel more secure.

all right ill look for one of those lids i was gunna use a peice of non treated ply wood for the back ground and make a planter type thing out of wood and seal it to the back ground with aquarium sealer for the devils ivy and drape it over a branch to make a arborial hide.can you keep more than one in a 10 gallon thanks.
