PTF froglets...help! ASAP

Im also posting this on the tadpole forum. I caught a bunch of tads in a mud pudle and put hem in a nice tank, but now I already have 7 tads with front and back legs w/ lil tails left. They are Pacific Tree Froglets. I know that I could feed them pin head crix or something, but where am i supposed get those? HELP they will have desolved their tails pretty soon and will need to eat! Any comments will be much appreciated... =]

pinhead crickets!!!! Ask your local pet shop to order somefor you..........
or better still let them go!!!
It is illegal to keep ptf as pets unless under certain circumstances........ And not 7

where did you get this info?

it is illegal to sell a native species, however, i haven’t heard of them being illegal to keep unless your state has a "ban" or restriction on them...

where do you live OP?

I live in Oregon. And I have like 30 of them. I was planning on letting them go tho.
I just saved them from certain death. bcuz they were in a mud puddle that dirtbikes ride through!

Do a search for Pacific tree frogs and you will find that it is in fact illegal to keep them without permits. And 99% of counties will no longer issue permits because of the declining number in the wild. In certain counties under certain circumstances children under 12 are allowed to keep one as a pet, just as some counties allow children to fish without licenses. They are illegal to keep throughout California and I believe in all states where they are native which is Oregon, Washington, California, Bevada and Arizona.
I have done extensive research on this and believe me it is true. If caught keeping them illegally the fine is quite hefty. Trouble is catching people.
