How big is your tank? depending on the size of your tank and how much necessities you are willing to buy, there’s a wide range of reptiles/amphibians you can purchase.

Well it would work for a tree frog (you’d need to take out the bark and use cocoa substrate), you’d also need probably a lamp for heating and a big water dish.

For a corn snake you would need to take out the bark (though I have some under the water dish in case it over flows) and then put in aspen bedding. They tunnel through it. You’ll also need a small under tank pad heater for one side. Possibly a lamp as well ($5 at Walmart) for additional heating when needed.

Personally corns are easier to keep, no humidity to worry about, feed once a week, poo once a week, and you can handle them. Frogs are a no touch animal. Plus corns come in all sorts of colors. I did just upgrade from my 20L to a 40Breeder tank because it gives him more room, he’s about 5’. It sounds big but not really they are thin.

You would need clips for the top to keep them in. Get a small one (hatchling) then you really don’t notice that they get big since you see them grow. Look up "corn snake morphs" on Google, lots of variety, plus you never have to worry about vacations.

That would be a great tank for a tree frog! it has a lot of things for him to climb! And the tunnel is a good place for them to hide during the day, remember they are nocturnel
