My parents decided that I can get back on, they just want to know who Im talking to, say introduce yourself! :D
This Morning when I woke up, my turtle was dead. He was upsidedown in his tank. He has done this countless times before. But he has always woke up. Please wake up!!! He isnt. RIP
And I noticed that my new tree frog has skin falling off his knee(if tree frogs even have knees)



And I have a Exo Terra Fogger that is really dangerous to tree frogs if they touch it. So I figured out a solution to keeping my tree frogs safe! What I did is I take the fogger, put it in a tuppperwear container on top of the cage, and it the fog will fall right in! I also put a box over the fogger so it woundlt fog up my room. It works- really well! I dont know if anyone else has tried this, but it really works!
Put it on top of the cage...


Then put the box over it!


I took these pics today of my tree frogs, I think they are really good!

Okay, so INTRODUCTION TIME!!

I am Ammeratsu. That’s not my real name, but I’ll keep my real name to myself in RL. I’m 13 years old, a girl and have been dealing with reptiles and amphibians for 5 years. I started with two fire bellied toads. I’ve been around animals my whole life, starting with a dog and gerbils.
My current pets are:
2.2 gerbils
2.3 leopard geckos
7 fire bellied toads(unkown gender)
0.1 green tree frog
1.0 Mandarin salamander
1.0 blue dumpy tree frog
2.0 dogs
0.1 cat
8.0 rats
1 great plains skink(Unknown gender)
1 green tree python(unknown gender)
1.0 Horse

I’m so sorry about your turtle! I had a hatchling leopard gecko that died a couple days ago. =(

And that fogger idea is AWESOME. I’m gonna do that for Smeagle, my dumpy! By the way, I started that Melafix dip and Smeagle passed a normal poop and it looking so much happier!

Tell your parents, I am perfectly harmless. lol I’m a old women with nothing else to do but talk on this frog forum. lol
Seriously, My name is Dawn and I am a grand mother of 1 beautiful little girl that just turned 1, yesterday on the 10th!
I have had frogs for 4 or 5 yrs. I think... can’t remember for sure. (old age). lol
I work at a vet office.
The pets that are living with me at the present time are:
4 dogs
2 cats
1 gecko
5 wtfs (whites tree frogs)
2 red eye tree frogs
6 fish

I enjoy talking with people on this forum and helping when ever I can.
There are several of us that have been on this forum for a long time and we have helped one and another at one time or another, as well as others.
I think the only old timers that are left on here now, are Froggy&Gribbit,Rrrragdoll,Hoppy & Ilovegreen. Not saying they are old, just saying they have been on here for along time and have alot of experience with pets, so don’t hesitate to ask them questions.

Any way WELCOME BACK!! Thanks mom & dad!!

Hey, that’s pretty cool! I love the black and white one with the frogs in color.

And it’s also awesome that we’re the same age. 8D

And as for the fogger, I got it set up, but it uses all the water so fast! How should I solve this? How can I make it last at least 8 hours(School)?

if the water drains quick, make it bigger. but make sure it not too heavy for the tank. :)

The weirdest thing happened today when i checked on my tree frogs!!


The fogger mist was hot! there was none in the tank, it was orbiting the glad container. the water was all but boiling! i turned it off. it was so weird, i guess it just over heated. my lil tree frogs were fine though!

That thing is hot. I had it in my fire belly toads’ tank for a while and it made the water really hot, so I had to completely stop using it until you gave me this idea. I made it bigger, but it still drains in like, an hour.

Oh yeah, and it shouldnt really be on for eight hours, that way too much humidity. I would keep it on only during the night, when they are active. :)

Yes, I was worried that you would have more questions or have a problem and not be able to get on here for help.

I would only use the fogger when you are there to watch it, wtfs don’t need that much humidity in their tank to have it run very long anyway.
They do get hot and there is a risk your frogs could over heat,get burned, or cause a fire. I agree there is alot of risk useing those, best not to use at all.

Hi! im anilver.
I had 6-7 years experience with herps.
I have
2 oriental fire bellied toads (Bombina orientalis) and 2 european fire belleid toads (Bombina bombina)
1 Bullfrog (rana catesbiana)
about 60 tadpoles that hatched on August 9th 2008 (just incase this post lastes a couple years lol)
2 kenyis
3 malawi cichlids
2 chinchillas
1 roboroski dwarf hamster
2 hermits crabs
A guppie tank
and 3 red eared sliders.
I am harmless so I hope im ok to talk to you.
