 Question about quantity of food

We have now owned our tree frog for about one month. He is an adult tree frog I have changed his feeding a few times. I am not comfortable giving him the large crickets...they are just so big. The pet shop by me carries large and small crickets. I have heard that the larger crickets do not necessarily have more "meat" they are just more skeletal. I have started giving him 24 small crickets per week. Is this too much, too little? I don’t give them all at once. I divide it between 2 to 3 feedings per week. He seems to be eating everything up. Occasionally there might be one or two crickets left from the night before.

What type of frog?

Most adult frogs will eat a dozen crix a week but this is just general... It depends on genes and activity levels etc... You can always add or take away if he gets too pudgy...

It is an adult white tree frog. I thought since I was using small crickets I should double the amount to two dozen. Does this sound right?

As long as he’s not over weight...

I would space them out so not a single feeding maybe two or three if possible if container feeding...

If your putting in the tank for him to catch its fine in a single amount...
