1. green tree frog
2. yes
3. they will breed under right conditions but probably won’t if you aren’t trying to breed them, but if they do you can give or sell the tadpoles
4. 10 gallons per frog so 50gallon tank would be neccasary
5.Link you should do all the research you can before buying... you should read every care sheet you can

You really need to be trying to breed them to get them to. So it is not an issue at all. Even in the very unlikelyhood that you were able to simulate correct breeding temps/humidity/rain cycles etc and they did, you could just remove the eggs and no problem. I have a pair for 3 yrs and no eggs.

Keep in mind that they are not cheap to feed, each frog eating about 1-2 dozen crickets a week. So for 5 you’ll need 5-10 dozen a week depending on age etc. Even going at the low end 5 dozen even at a cheap $1/dozen is $5 a week, just for crickets.

I would suggest Whites tree frogs, they are good beginners but are a bigger tree frog so you would need 20gal for the first one and +10 each additional. A couple whites in a 30 or larger tank would be perfect. Even just one is fine (though most people can’t have just one!)

Another great option and more of a diurnal (day) frog are firebelly toads (they’re really frogs).

Make sure that you have the tank set up correctly and running correctly (the right temps and humidity all day every day) before getting frogs in there.

Here is a great website to research different types of frogs, their setup and answer lots of questions. AmphibianCare

Maybe? maybe not? advice and pics plz

try whites tree frogs very good beginner frogs i have 2 you need a 20gal for one of the frogs though because the females can get big like 5in Ive heard.

20gal for one frog
30gal for two frogs
40gal for three frogs and so on

They need lots of places to hide lots of branches to climb on and some plants fake or real they are a bit expensive though altogether it cost me like $250-$300 and so far on food Ive spent like 100 xD or more so yeah make sure you get that in line to temps need to be 80-85 during the day and 70-75 at night. humidity like 45%-60% make sure you provide clean water daily with dechlorinated water so buy something that takes out the chlorine in the water from a pet store and make sure it says safe for amphibians!!!!
