Hey, my barking tree frog just died and i was wondering what kind of frog i should in replacement.

i would like to use the cage i have. I have a large exo terra tall.
i do have expeirience, i have had many other types. something that i could rescue from my petstore, i want to get something from there so i do not have to feel bad for the next time i go in to get crickets.

well i curently have a red eyed tree frog (4 yrs old), leopard frog, 3 wtf (all 3 years) and i had a 3 barking tree frogs(all were 3-4 yrs). those were the ages when i got them. Hope this helps.

If the store is substandard why give them any business? Maybe they will change their ways. Buy your crickets online, it is so much cheaper. I wouldn’t be rescuing frogs from a substandard store. Find a local show and find a good, reputable breeder.

I agree with you about getting them from a local pet show but, I do not like to see those animals in the pet store suffer. I got my RETF from a pet show. Our next show is in a year. I am not going to wait that long.

buying from petstores that dont care for there pets just promotes them to buy more. if you want them to change dont buy and complain to the store manager.

Well, actually I did. I called the 1 800 # and complained. The manager got fired (probably a coincidence) and they have been looking a lot better. They remodeled a few weeks ago and just opened back up.

But I still want to know what kind of frog I should get.

white lipped? basically the same look as a whites but has a white lip. go figure.

you could change it up a little and do like a pacman or pixie. if you feel like getting something that gets that big.

you have a fair collection already. depends on what you like. just surf the internet for frogs and im sure you will find something that looks cool or enjoyable to have as a pet.

Yeah, I think I might get a white lip. But i am still open 5other suggestions. But maybe a Pacman.
