Live plant question This may be a stupid question...Can carnivorous plants (venus fly trap, pitcher plant) be put in the terrarium with tree frogs. I saw some of these plants at a farmers market and I thought they would be great in the terrarium, especially since I am putting in crickets this would probably meet their food need as well. I have a list of live plants that are safe for wtf and these are not on it...I was hoping someone would know...they would be so cool to put in the terrarium, but I don’t want to do anything that could be unsafe to my frog.

Live plant question I would not. In their atural habitat these plants eat the frogs too!!! The insects are attracted to the plant, the frogs are attracted to the insects and both get eaten!! Of course if the frog is too big to fit into the plant they may be ok but I wouldn’t risk it..............
